Sourdough Focaccia
This Sourdough Focaccia is one of the best you will find out there. It's airy, bubbly and not dense. The dough is easy to work with- I hate sticky doughs. The toppings are your choice in this recipe. So, give it try and share with us your opinion. Enjoy!
- 165 active sourdough starter
- 140 grams water
- 6 grams salt
- 15 grams olive oil
- 200 grams AP flour
Instructions:
- In a bowl, add the active sourdough starter, water, salt and the olive oil.
-Mix well all the ingredients together before adding the floor in.
-Again, mix all the flour in till no dry flour left.
-Cover the mixture with a damp cloth and rest for an hour.
-Stretch and fold every 15 minutes, for as many times as you can handle.
-Transfer the dough to a greased baking dish and cover, allowing the dough to rest for 10-12 hours.
-Drizzle the top of the dough and add toppings if you'd like.
-Bake your focaccia at 180C for 25-30 minutes.
