Blueberry Scones
An easy warm cakey blueberry scones with a cup of coffee, now that's a snack or a breakfast. In the recipe below, you'll be able to bake 6 delicious scones . Enjoy!
Ingredients:
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup white granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick cubed butter)
- 1 pack of blueberries
Instructions:
-In a bowl, add in your dry ingredients aka flour, white sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Then add in your cubed butter.
-Break the butter in to the dry ingredients, but don't over mix it.
-To the mixture, add the blueberries, the egg and the heavy cream. Now mix to form a sphere shaped dough.
-Cut your sphere shaped dough in to 6 pieces. Then brush with heavy cream and sprinkle with brown sugar for extra color.
-Transfer your scones to your baking sheet. And bake at 180C for 25-30 minutes or till you get the nice golden color.
-And you're ready to serve. Enjoy!
