Spicy Salmon Nori Taco

Spicy Salmon Nori Taco

Cuisine fusion is fun to play with, but in this recipe, there is no real fusion going on. Just the nori sheets are taco shaped (because it's fun, duhhh!). But the recipe is still pretty much the same (veggies, salmon, sushi rice, and nori sheets). And most importantly it tastes just as great as it looks.

Ingredients:
  • cucumber
  • avocado
  • green onions
  • 1 cup sushi rice, cooked
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • salmon
  • kewpie mayonnaise
  • sriracha sauce
  • soy sauce
  • nori sheets
  • all-purpose flour
  • water

Instructions:

-Thinly slice your veggies. (cucumber, avocado, and spring onions)

-Season your sushi rice with the sugar, salt, sesame seeds, sesame oil, and rice vinegar. (feel free with the measurements)

-Season your salmon with the kewpie mayonnaise, sriracha, and soy sauce.

-In a bowl, mix the flour with water to form a paste.

-Dip your taco shaped nori sheets in the mixture and then in the boiling oil.

-Top your fried nori sheets with the seasoned sushi rice, seasoned salmon, sliced cucumber, sliced avocado, spring onions and garnish with sesame seeds.

-And you're ready to serve. Enjoy!
