If you're looking for a new way to do your French toast, you've made it! This strawberry-cream cheese stuffed French toast is such a delicacy and guess what? it's so easy to make. really easy. Can't wait for you all to try it.
Ingredients:
- toast
- strawberries
- cream cheese
- cinnamon
- maple syrup
- eggs
- heavy cream
- vanilla
- butter
- powdered sugar
Instructions:
-Thinly slice your strawberries, keep aside whole ones for garnishing
-In a bowl whisk together your cream cheese mixture. (cream cheese, cinnamon, and maple syrup)
-Use your cookie cutter to cut your toast. (toast your discards and use it in a different recipe)
-Smear one side of the toast with the cream cheese mixture and top it with the sliced strawberries. Place the second toast on top of the first and gently lock both toasts together.
-In a plate mix together the liquid mixture. (eggs, heavy cream, vanilla, and cinnamon)
-Dip your stuffed toast in your liquid mixture
-Toast in butter the stuffed toast on low-medium heat
-Take off the heat the stuffed toast once it has a golden/light brown color
-Let it cool down before dusting it with the powdered sugar
-Serve with maple syrup on the side and garnish with the extra strawberries
-And you're done, Enjoy!!!
