Temaki Sushi (Hand Roll Sushi)

Temaki Sushi or Sushi Cones, it's almost same as sushi rolls, only difference the sushi cones are easier to make. Maybe the taste is slightly different too, since you're getting bigger bites than you do when eating sushi rolls. Next time you'll be making sushi at home try making some Temaki Sushi on the side using the recipe below. Enjoy! 

Ingredients:
  • cucumber
  • green onions
  • 1 cup sushi rice, cooked
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • salmon
  • kewpie mayonnaise 
  • sriracha sauce
  • soy sauce
  • nori sheets

Instructions:

-Thinly slice your veggies. (cucumber, and spring onions)

-Season your sushi rice with the sugar, salt, sesame seeds, sesame oil, and rice vinegar. (feel free with the measurements)

-Season your salmon with the kewpie mayonnaise, sriracha, and soy sauce.

-Top your vertical nori sheets with the seasoned sushi rice, sliced cucumber, spring onions, seasoned salmon, and garnish with sesame seeds.

-Roll the filled nori sheets to form cones.

-And you're ready to serve. Enjoy!
