Pumpkin Hummus 

When pumpkin is in season, we cook literally everything with it. Pumpkin Hummus has this warm taste coming from the spice mix which makes it the ideal appetizer or side dish for the cold days. Give this hummus recipe a try and share with us your opinion. Bon Appetit!!

Ingredients:
Pumpkin Hummus
  • 1 cup cooked chickpeas 
  • 4 tbsps pumpkin purée
  • 1 tbsp curry powder 
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder 
  • 1 tsp garlic powder 
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • a pinch of salt 
  • 1/4 cup of tahini 
  • 2 tbsp olive oil 
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup 
  • pumpkin seeds 

Instructions:

-In a food processor, add the cooked chickpeas and the pumpkin purée.

-Next, add your spices, curry powder, cumin, chili powder and garlic powder.

-Finally, add grated garlic, a squeeze of lemon and a pinch of salt.

-Top the ingredients with tahini, olive oil and maple syrup.

-Blend all the ingredients till it gets silky smooth.

-Plate your pumpkin hummus with an extra drizzle of olive oil.

-Garnish with pumpkin seeds and chili powder.
