Tomato & Mozzarella Cannelloni

Tomato & Mozzarella Cannelloni with red sauce and minced meat had its moment on TikTok for some time, but we need it back in our lives. It's nice, it's cheesy, it's pasta!!! Definitely was worth the try. Bon Appetit!!!

Ingredients:
    Tomato & Mozzarella Cannelloni
  • 3 tbsps olive oil 
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced 
  • 1 onion, minced 
  • 1 dried chili
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • 4 to 5 cups of water
  • salt
  • dried oregano 
  • dried basil
  • dried rosemary 
  • 1 tsp garlic powder 
  • 1 tsp onion powder 
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper 
  • 250-300 grams minced meat, cooked
  • cherry mozzarella 
  • cherry tomato
  • cannelloni
  • shredded mozzarella 
  • shredded parmesan 
  • arugula

Instructions:

-In a pan, add the olive oil, garlic, onion and a dried chili.

-Caramelize the ingredients before adding in the tomato paste.

-Stir then add in the water. 

-Spice the sauce by adding in the salt, oregano, basil, rosemary, garlic & onion powder and black pepper.

-Finally, add the minced meat and cook for 5 minutes on high-medium heat.

-To your cannelloni, add halved cherry mozzarella and tomato.

-Cover your cannelloni dish with your red sauce.

-Next, top your dish with mozzarella and parmesan.

-Bake the cannelloni for 18-20 minutes.

-Serve with fresh arugula and enjoy!!!
