One Pot Caramelized Onion Orzo 

One Pot Cramelized Onion Orzo will be your favorite warm dish which requires only one pan to make. It is a French met Italian dish, with the caramelized onion melting in your mouth.
The orzo itself wouldn't take much time to make and the caramelized onion can be done the day prior. Enough with the introduction and it's time to enjoy this delicious dish. Bon Appetit!!!

Ingredients:
  • 1 large white onion
  • 1/2 cup of orzo 
  • 1 cup of vegetable stock 
  • 1 cup of water
  • pecorino romano 
  • butter
  • lemon 
  • salt
Instructions:
One Pot Caramelized Onion Orzo

-Thinly slice a white onion.

-On low-medium heat, caramelise the onion till golden-brownish.

-Salt the onion while caramelising.

-Add the orzo once the onion is done.

-Allow the orzo to gain some colour before adding in the stock.

-Once the orzo absorbs the stock add the water.

-Shred a generous amount of pecorino romano and add a knob of butter.

-For a final kick add a squeeze of lemon.

-Serve with extra pecorino.
