Next time you are craving potatoes, try this Fondant Potatoes recipe. It's not the easiest or quickest potato recipe you might come across, but it's worth every bite. From the name, it's so soft that it melts in your mouth and it's rich in flavor that you won't have enough.
You will need a cookie cutter to shape them that way and I think it will be the hardest step in the recipe. Then you will fry the potatoes and submerge in a stock, then finally, bake. It's everything to be done for a potato combined in one recipe.

Fondant Potatoes
Ingredients:
  • 2 medium sized potatoes 
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • olive oil
  • fresh rosemary 
  • 2 knobs of butter
  • vegetable stock 
Instructions:

-Slice the peeled potatoes to thick slices.

-Cut the potato slices with a cookie cutter.

-In a frying pan, add olive oil and the potatoes.

-Once the potatoes get golden add butter, garlic and rosemary.

-Pour vegetable stock until the potatoes are submerged.

-Transfer the pan to the oven and allow it to cook slowly.

-Once cooked, transfer the potatoes to a serving plate.

-Peel the confit garlic and mix the vegetable stock.

-Serve the potatoes drenched in the stock.
